Sony maybe able to breathe a sigh of relief as they released reports today that the Playstation Vita has reached 1.2 Million units sold worldwide 4 days after being released in US, UK, etc. Sony detailed that as of mid February the system had reached a little over 500K units in Japan meaning all other territories have made up the remaining 600K+ units. This is certainly a step in the right direction for Sony but the momentum needs to continue. Hopefully the release of bigger titles in Japan will see a spike and the promise of big titles here like Resistance and Motorstorm will keep gamers of the west interested and supportive.
